-
We may use anonymized, non-identifiable, aggregated data for internal astrology research and to improve the Arooda platform. No individual user can be identified from this data.
-
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data at any time.
1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

For all privacy-related inquiries, requests, or concerns, please contact us at:
Email: admin@arooda.life

We aim to respond to all privacy inquiries within 30 days.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories in order to provide and improve the Service:
2.1 Account and Identity Information
When you register for an account, we collect:
-
Your name and email address
-
Your preferred language
-
Authentication credentials managed through our third-party access management provider, Clerk (see Section 5.1). We do not receive or store your password at any time.
2.2 Birth and Astrological Data
The core functionality of Arooda depends on your astrological birth chart. We collect:
-
Date of birth
-
Time of birth
-
Place of birth (city and country)
This information is used to calculate your natal birth chart, planetary period (Dasha) timelines, and to generate all astrological insights and transit analyses within the Service. Without this data, the Service cannot function as intended.
2.3 Mood and Emotional State Data
Arooda's mood update feature is central to how we personalize your experience. Through this feature, we collect:
-
Energy and vibe indicators (e.g., Calm, Anxious, Hopeful, Uncertain, Excited, Drained)
-
Current mood descriptors (e.g., Happy, Sad, Stressed, Neutral, Grateful, Restless)
-
Life areas currently on your mind (e.g., Career, Family, Love, Finance, Health, Spiritual, Children, Education, Travel)
-
Free-text entries describing your current concern and what you hope for
This data is used to: (i) personalize AI-generated chat responses and astrological guidance; and (ii) track correlations between your reported emotional states and your astrological transits over time, so that Arooda can improve the accuracy and relevance of recommendations for you specifically. See Section 3.3 for more detail.
2.4 Predisposition Survey Data
The Predisposition Survey asks you to identify your behavioral tendencies and vulnerabilities as they relate to specific planets in your birth chart. We collect:
-
Your self-reported behavioral weaknesses and tendencies per planetary influence (e.g., Sun, Moon, Jupiter)
-
The specific transit periods during which these tendencies are most pronounced
This data is used to: (i) send you proactive reminder notifications before astrological transits that are likely to trigger your identified vulnerabilities; and (ii) generate more targeted and meaningful astrological guidance. This data is treated with the same high level of sensitivity as mood data and is never shared with or sold to third parties.
2.5 Chat and Interaction Data
When you interact with Arooda's AI chat feature, we collect:
-
The content of messages you send to Arooda
-
Conversation thread titles and metadata
-
Timestamps and interaction history
This data is used to provide conversational context, generate personalized responses, and maintain the continuity of your conversations across sessions.
2.6 Usage and Technical Data
We automatically collect certain technical and usage data when you use the Service, including:
-
Device type, operating system, and app version
-
IP address and approximate geographic location (country/region level)
-
App usage patterns, feature interactions, and session duration
-
Crash reports and error logs
This data is used to ensure the stability, security, and performance of the Service, and to understand how users engage with different features.
2.7 Subscription and Payment Data
Payment transactions are processed entirely through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, process, or store your payment card details or financial account information. We receive only limited transactional confirmation data (e.g., subscription status, renewal date) from the platform providers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
3.1 Providing and Personalizing the Service
-
Generating your natal birth chart, Dasha timelines, and weekly astrological insights
-
Calculating support and resistance scores for life areas and planets based on current transits
-
Delivering personalized AI chat responses informed by your birth chart, mood, and predisposition profile
-
Sending proactive transit-based reminders based on your Predisposition Survey results
-
Maintaining conversation history and the “What Arooda Knows About You” persona summary
3.2 Authentication and Account Management
We use Clerk to authenticate your identity and manage secure access to your account. Clerk handles the storage and verification of login credentials on our behalf. We do not have access to your password at any point. See Section 5.1 for more details on Clerk.
3.3 Mood and Transit Correlation
One of Arooda’s distinctive features is the tracking of how your emotional states and reported moods change in correlation with your astrological transits over time. Specifically:
-
We record your mood updates alongside the active planetary transits at the time of each update
-
Over time, this creates a personal dataset that helps Arooda identify patterns — for example, whether you tend to feel more anxious during certain Saturn transits, or more energized during Jupiter periods
-
These patterns are used to refine the guidance and recommendations Arooda provides to you, making them more accurate and personally relevant over time
This analysis is conducted at the individual level to improve your experience. Aggregated, anonymized versions of these correlations may also be used for internal astrology research as described in Section 3.5.
3.4 Communications and Notifications
-
Sending daily mood check-in reminders (if enabled by you)
-
Sending transit-based behavioral reminders based on your Predisposition Survey
-
Sending service-related communications such as subscription confirmations, policy updates, and security alerts
-
Responding to your inquiries and support requests
We do not send marketing communications to third parties on the basis of your data.
3.5 Internal Research and Service Improvement
We may use data that has been fully anonymized and aggregated — meaning it cannot be linked back to any individual user — for the following internal purposes:
-
Conducting astrology research to identify statistical correlations between planetary transits and human behavioral and emotional patterns across our user base
-
Improving the accuracy and quality of Arooda’s AI models, astrological algorithms, and recommendation systems
-
Developing new features and improving the overall quality of the Service
This research uses only abstracted, aggregated data. No individual’s personal information, birth details, mood entries, or survey responses are used in identifiable form for research purposes. We will never sell, license, or otherwise transfer research-derived insights or any user data to third parties for their commercial benefit.
3.6 Legal, Safety, and Compliance
-
Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes
-
Enforcing our Terms of Use and other agreements
-
Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity
-
Protecting the rights, safety, and property of Arooda, our users, and the public
